Glenn Azar
Glenn has spent most of his life serving in the Australian Army where he commenced in Infantry before moving to Medical Corps and qualified as an Aviation Medic, Physical Training Instructor and later a Registered Nurse. Glenn has seen active service in East Timor and Bougainville as well as a host of smaller operations.
Glenn is a former partner and shareholder of one Australia’s larger Adventure Company’s where he worked as a senior trek leader and Operations Manager before making the decision to move to the Adventure Professionals and continue to provide his clients with the most memorable adventures available. Glenn is the Director of Adventure Professionals.

Helen McFadzean
Helen manages the administration and organizational side of the Adventure Professionals business overseeing bookings, client contact, trip logistics and information distribution. With a background of over 15 years in marketing and project management in corporate and media across Asia Pacific, Helen most recently worked for The People Development Group and Madston Black Helen has strong organization and communication skills and from early training in Hospitality Management, a focus on client service and attention to detail.

Samantha Rigney
Samantha joined Adventure Professionals in June 2010 as Adventure Coordinator, ensuring the smooth running and organisation of all our trip logistics. Currently Samantha also works as Executive Assistant/Co-ordinator for The People Development Group, supporting the Group Managing Director and providing general admin support to other team members. Samantha previously studied professional photography at the International Design School.

Kyle Williams
Kyle Williams is one of our Senior Adventure Leaders, Medic and Fitness Advisor. Kyle has led numerous global adventures on The Kokoda Track, in Australia’s Kimberly region, and across Australia’s 10 highest snow peaks. He specializes in results-based fitness training, with his novel training programs being widely published in Ultra Fit Australia, Run For Your Life, and Triathlon & Multi-Sport magazines. Kyle is a former Army Medic and Physical Trainer.

Greg Chamberlain
Greg is a veteran of 35 years in the Australian Army where he served in the Infantry. Greg is a Vietnam Veteran having served as a Rifleman, Forward Scout, Machine Gunner, Section 2IC and Section Commander; Greg was the RSM of 41 RNSWR, 1 RAR including the 1RAR Bn Group in Somalia, 11 Brigade and the School of Infantry.
On leaving the Army Greg took up Personal Training and now works at Fighting Fit Australia as a popular trainer and amazing motivator. Greg is a senior trek leader at Adventure Professionals and specialises in Kokoda and the military history of this great trek.

Scott Moran
Scott is a Lawyer and General Manager of a Queensland based law firm. He is the former General Manager of one of Australia’s larger Adventure Company’s where he also held positions as an Adventure Leader, Adventure Medic and National Business Development.
Scott is most experienced in Kokoda, Nepal and Outback Australian Adventures.Scott works as a trek leader with Adventure Professionals and consults on Business Development.

Matt Boyd
Matt is a Registered Nurse and is the Nurse Unit Manager of the Emergency Department of a major Queensland Hospital.
Matt is experienced as a senior medic on Kokoda and is the Senior Medical Advisor for Adventure Professionals as well as soon to be commencing as an Adventure Leader.

Mick Rossendell
Mick has spent 22 years in the Australian Army in Medical corps where he was qualified as a Medic, Combat Fitness Leader and Combat Survival Instructor. Mick served on active duty as a Patrol Medic in Iraq and as the senior Medic in East Timor. Mick has an extensive training and management background in the health industry in particular the training of the Australian Defence Force’s Medics and Combat First Aiders. Mick works as a senior medic for Adventure Professionals and is soon commencing as an Adventure Leader. Mick’s extensive military history and combat experience will ensure your trip is planned in every detail as well as providing a unique touch on the Kokoda experience.

Rob Appleton
Rob is one of Adventure Professionals Kokoda Medics. Rob grew up on remote cattle stations throughout Central Qld. He has spent time at Royal Military College in 2003, and served in the Army Reserves. He is a highly sought after Personal Trainer and is heavily involved in Crossfit.
Rob is passionate about the outdoors and getting the most out of people by helping them create the opportunities to experience life as it was intended. He leads by experience and example, and believes that consequence is the result of action.

Keith Fennell
Keith joined the elite Australian Special Air Service Regiment at the age of 21. Fennell was deployed on many operations, including missions to Afghanistan, East Timor, the Solomon Islands and the southern Indian Ocean. He also served on a medical deployment to East Africa, was a member of the boarding party on the controversial MV Tampa incident, and supported counter-terrorism operations.
In late 2002 Fennell left the SAS and moved to the United Arab Emirates, where he was employed as a special operations adviser. In January 2004, he accepted a position in Iraq, and spent the next thirty months running operations there, in Afghanistan and in Banda Aceh.
In June 2006 Fennell returned to Australia. He published his first book, Warrior Brothers, in 2008 and it quickly became a bestseller. His second book, Warrior Training, was released in September 2009. Fennell is completing a double-degree in Creative Arts and Arts at the University of Wollongong and is writing, Cold Soul, a fictional thriller.
Fennell has supported numerous high-performance clinics for Australia’s sporting elite (the ARU, first grade rugby league and AFL teams) and has taken performance methodologies to the corporate world in the form of motivational seminars and team-building workshops.
Keith works with Adventure Professionals on expeditions, one day personal challenge activities and public speaking engagements.
