Alyssa Azar

The Youngest Australian Female to Summit Mt Everest

Meet Alyssa Azar

Alyssa Azar is the youngest Australia to stand on the summit of Mount Everest at the age of 19 years old. Her thirst for adventure started many years earlier when she crossed the Kokoda Track at the age of 8 years old.

That started something big as Alyssa then went on to climb on five different continents and challenged herself with adventures of varying degrees. She has climbed in New Zealand, South America, Australia, Nepal, Africa, Russia and is aiming to complete the Seven Summits and eventually wishes to climb all of the 8,000m peaks around the world.

When she’s not on her own adventures Alyssa also leads adventures for Adventure Professionals specifically the Kokoda Track, Aussie 10 Peaks, Mount Kilimanjaro and Everest Base Camp.
