Mt Kilimanjaro
Situated in the north eastern region of Tanzania stands Mt Kilimanjaro, the tallest peak in Africa at 5895m and the highest free standing equatorial mountain in the world.
This 13 day trip will take you through a physical, mental and cultural journey that you will never forget – from colourful African villages and noisy market places to scaling the heights of this volcanic beauty with its lush tropical vegetation, open moorlands, rugged alpine deserts, rocky terrain, ice fields and the final steep push to the summit. While you need no previous climbing or mountaineering experience, the challenge will come with the altitude.
Let this fantastic journey allow you to experience the true heart of Africa…enjoy the changing scenery, the colourful clothing, cheeky children, incredible scenery and of course, the view from the summit.
