Special Forces Challenge
Then look no more… we can create 1, 2 or 3 day challenges in remote and beautiful locations designed to get your heart racing, your adrenalin pumping, your mind thinking and your smile widening as we put you, your team, your friends and your work colleagues through an experience that will mirror some of the special forces selection trials…
With Keith Fennell and the rest of the Adventure Professionals team we can specifically design an unforgettable, fun and challenging session to help you achieve your goals.
Keith joined the elite Australian Special Air Service Regiment at the age of 21. Fennell was deployed on many operations, including missions to Afghanistan, East Timor, the Solomon Islands and the southern Indian Ocean. He also served on a medical deployment to East Africa, was a member of the boarding party on the controversial MV Tampa incident, and supported counter-terrorism operations.
In late 2002 Fennell left the SAS and moved to the United Arab Emirates, where he was employed as a special operations adviser. In January 2004, he accepted a position in Iraq, and spent the next thirty months running operations there, in Afghanistan and in Banda Aceh.
In June 2006 Fennell returned to Australia. He published his first book, Warrior Brothers, in 2008 and it quickly became a bestseller. His second book, Warrior Training, was released in September 2009. Fennell is completing a double-degree in Creative Arts and Arts at the University of Wollongong and is writing, Cold Soul, a fictional thriller.
Fennell has supported numerous high-performance clinics for Australia’s sporting elite (the ARU, first grade rugby league and AFL teams) and has taken performance methodologies to the corporate world in the form of motivational seminars and team-building workshops.
Keith works with Adventure Professionals on expeditions, one day personal challenge activities and public speaking engagements.
