Come Dog Sled in the Yukon

The Yukon is an amazing wilderness, with beautiful backdrops and jaw dropping scenery, and you will get to experience it all.

Once we arrive in Vancouver I will organise a tour of the city and show you some great places to eat.

We will fly out to Whitehorse the next day (2.5 hour flight) and that’s where the adventure really begins.

We’re staying in lodge accommodation with amazing wood heaters. In 2015 we twice saw the Northern Lights so fingers crossed for 2016 as well.

The first couple of days are getting you kitted out with specialist cold weather clothing and equipment, then an introduction to your dog team. That’s right, you get your very own team.

You have the chance to feed, groom and work with your team to build a great bond.

We take them out on the frozen lakes and bush tracks for a few hours each day to ensure you learn all the commands and get comfortable with the dogs.

Then we head out for a night or two of sledding along the Old Yukon Trail and camping out in the Yukon Wilderness.

This really is the trip of a life time.
